Monster by Mail

Monday, April 30th, 2007

I’m currently revamping my portfolio site and subsequently combining it with this blog, which explains the long absence here.

Meanwhile check this out: http://www.monsterbymail.com

I love this idea! Much as I’m into digital drawing, I always appreciated the good old pencil and paper.

This is what I call pure simple fun of art.

Sporting Singapore Inspiration Award Website

ssia

I was engaged by a long time business partner to provide a design template for this project. His agency has won the tender for the government website: this year’s Sporting Singapore Inspiration Award (SSIA).

The Requirements

This project has a tight schedule to go in consistency with its nomination and publicity schedule. As my scope was to provide the design template, my timeline is cut even shorter as the template has to be out asap to allow time for production and iteration.

LMS Interface Design

This project involves the interface design for this international company’s learning management system (LMS) as well as its company webmail interface. Great face to cartoonize! JKoo has several distinct features and make good material for a caricature. This time I utilized alot of Flash 8’s blurring filters to do the shading. Great tool~! Hail Adobe~!

A Wedding Montage that Dared to be Different

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

The Requirements

A romantic love story with a touching ballad, sunsets and beaches… None of these go in line with this couple’s personality. My sis-cum-client, Sylvia wants to go funky. In addition, the couple wants the montage to be presented as a tribute to their parents. These are pretty much what I was asked to work with, which was great news. Free play is one thing a designer rarely enjoy nowadays.
